The Safety Analytics and Virtual Reality (SAVR) Laboratory, the first of its kind in India, is established in the year 2016 under the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, primarily to cater the needs and requirements of people at work from occupational safety and health point of view. The overall mission of this laboratory is to become the global benchmark for education, training & research in occupational safety and health analytics, simultaneously developing a national repository for data base in design, installation, operation, maintenance, management, and improvement of safety and health related programs for people at work |
